Volunteer Opportunities

Hello Everyone, I know everyone is getting ready for the holidays but here is our list of needs for this week. Please contact me if you can help.

Thank you are helping out in the Habitat mission of partnership with people in need to build decent, affordable, durable housing.

Some of the needs we have:

Sponcors for Celina home.
Office help 2 hrs a day or every other day to get mail and sort it.
6 people to work in Celina on Sat. must have gone through orientation. Call for address
Someone who knows banker language to help with Federal Home Loans with local banks. Call for more details
Full Time construction assistant (paid position) see http://www.volunteermckinney.org/ for job discription
People to establish relationships with home improvement stores like Lowes, painting and plumbing stores to help with donations to ReStore.
Fix the the dripping sink faucet and toilet in the office.
Clean office once a week in December.
Help modify Build manual (Need autocad experience)
Development Director, that can work on Sponsorships for Taste, marketing materials, put together Women Build, write press releases, etc.
A crew with chainsaws and trucks that can take care of issues of trees and brush on some of our lots. I am looking for about 8 people and someone to head this team.
People or a group to "Adopt-A-Lot". I have 14+ lots that need adopting.
A social worker that can help us direct individuals to other sources for their needs.
Party Planner for ground breaking and dedications.
"Taste of Collin County" help in Sponsorship, Live Auction, Parking Chairperson and ticket sales
Volunteer Chairperson for "Taste of Collin County"
House leaders and crew chiefs.
Adults that want to work with youth and guide them in the Habitat experience.
People with retail experience that would like to volunteer 2-3 days a week on a continuing basis for the ReStore that we are starting.
