On October 24^th North Collin County Habitat for Humanity will be putting on a 50-hole Golf Marathon at Gentle Creek Golf Club in Prosper. We are seeking 40 golfers to participate in a unique event to raise funds for Habitat.

This event is different from others you may have been involved with in that it is handled in a fashion similar to the Susan B. Komen breast cancer run.  Instead of buying a foursome, there is no charge for participating, rather each golfer obtains sponsors.  There is an incentive to you, the golfer, based on the dollar level committed to by the sponsors you obtain.   The more sponsors you obtain and the higher the dollar level per hole, the bigger the opportunity for you to win significant awards.    Golf participants will earn awards based on their individual fundraising efforts. The awards are:

      $1500.to $2499. -----a new TaylorMade Driver and 2 dozen balls

      $2500. to $3499.-----a new TaylorMade Driver and putter

      $3500 to $4999.-----a new set of custom fitted TaylorMade irons

      $5000 and above----a new full set of TaylorMade golf clubs with bag

Habitat for Humanity will receive 85% of all fundraising dollars.  You can see that this can be a win/win for both Habitat and you as a participant.  The event will begin with an 8:30 tee time and lunch will be provided.
