Youth United is getting started in North Collin County, attend our next meeting to get involved and learn more about Youth United.

What is Youth United? Youth United (YU) is a Habitat for Humanity program that brings community youth ages 5-25 together to sponsor and build a home with a local family in need. The youth are the leaders, planners, fundraisers, public relations specialists and builders.

How can your group get involved with Youth United?
1. Raise a part of the funds needed to build a house
2. Increase awareness about substandard housing issues
3. Provide volunteers, ages 16 and up, for construction work on the build site
4. Provide volunteers, under age 16 for important non-construction activities
5. Send a representative to all planning meetings.

Why should your group get involved with Youth United?
1. Make the dream of owning a home come true for a family.
2. Build a house from start to finish.
3. Develop leadership, social and construction skills.
4. Work with a diverse group and make new friends.
5. Make a difference in your community.
